There is a big time grocery store here called Wegman's. It is huge! Dave and I wanted to go grocery shopping somewhere close, so we went to try this out. Every time we have gone it has been absolutely packed. There are a bunch of different little kiosk things where you can get food. They have pizza, wings, indian food, salad bars, chinese food and pretty much anything else that you want. The first time we went there, I think that we were just SO overwhelmed. And it was a little more pricy than we wanted. So we decided to leave. We wanted to just find a plain old Wal-Mart. So we type it in on the GPS and start heading there. After about 15 minutes, we make it there. We go inside and start looking around and realize it's a regular Wal-Mart, not a super center. Geez. So we type it in on the GPS again and get to the super center about 15 minutes later. As I'm typing this, it doesn't sound as funny as it was. We just felt so lost. So unfamiliar with the city and we couldn't even find our old friend Wal-Mart. Now we know how to get there, still with the help of the GPS of course. It's sad that we feel so much more comfortable at Wal-Mart.
We were able to find a Babies R Us on the first try. We bought a car seat/stroller combo. It was priced at $220, but had a sign saying that there was a sale for $170 good Friday through Monday. Of course, we were there on a Tuesday. Dave was proud to say that JoLynn always taught him that you ask about the sale. Dave asked the salesman about it and they gave it to us for the advertised sale price! Nice. So Dave's asking saved us 50 bucks. I'll take it! So the next night we decide to get it out and put together. We literally started pulling out pieces and a main part on the stroller was broken! So annoying. Return trip to Babies R Us and we got it taken care of. But wow, can you say complicated?? I couldn't believe we got that stroller put together.
Dave has been going to the school every day this last week. What a cutie.
Baby is doing great as well. We've had 2 appointments since we've been here. Dr. said that everything is picture perfect. He's been head down for a while now, not too big and no problems. I am 37 weeks now. Getting more uncomfortable but I guess that comes with the territory. This little guy can come whenever he wants. I'm hoping he comes about 4 days late! Of course our due date, June 27th is literally Dave's busiest week of the semester. So I hope he comes a little late, or a little early. We'll see what happens!

It probably takes a while to get oriented in a new place, finding everything but good thing you have the GPS even though it is frustrating sometimes. Great deal on the baby stuff though!
