Snow Day

We've had a couple of "snow days" around here lately. These southerners do not mess with snow and ice. Generally, if either are in the forecast, school is cancelled or at least delayed. Although that doesn't stop Dave from going!

Here was the first snow. Ross was so excited even though there wasn't much.

Until . . . .
It snowed all day long. People have told us that it snowed more this one day than it has in Oxford for the last 5 years combined!

Stores were completely sold out of sleds, but that didn't stop us from sledding with the garbage can lid!

He loved  having Dad help him build a snowman.

The snow was fun. It lasted about a day and a half then quickly melted, which was great. The next week, we got a legitimate ice storm. Schools were closed again. Dave said the roads were rough.

Too bad we didn't have any ice skates!

Enough snow for now, we're ready fro spring!
